Craft, then growth, then strategy. Each role added a layer, and none of them replaced the last.
About
Marketer, founder, then growth designer. I've always worked where design meets the business.
I'm most useful where design, revenue, and ambiguity meet. I read funnels, experiments, and business metrics as fluently as I read a design file, and I'd rather be the person asking what we're actually trying to move than the one waiting to be told.
The arc
- 2010–2016 · Roots
Marketing, sales and two startups
Ran digital marketing and design for a food manufacturer, worked as a business specialist at Apple, and led marketing at Theorem. Co-founded two startups: Apexed, where I led a team of designers and iOS and Android developers and launched in 60+ countries, and Perch, where we secured seed investment.
- 2016–2019 · Craft at scale
Amazon (Quidsi) and Michael Kors
Designed for scale and brand consistency across global e-commerce, and learned how small changes move millions of shoppers.
- 2019–2021 · Clarity and systems
Stash and Attentive
Turned complex financial products into approachable ones, then helped scale a B2B platform and design system built for faster experimentation.
- 2021–2023 · Measurable outcomes
Podium
Led design on the Growth team and owned the funnel from the ad to activation.
- 2024–2026 · Trust and adoption
Vanta
Sole designer on Vanta's first Self-Serve team, leading onboarding, activation and growth.
- 2026– · Now
Farmers Insurance
Senior Product Designer and design lead on the quote and acquisition experience, and on the company's top AI initiatives.
What people I've worked with say
“Kevin is a combination of creative excellence and team spirit. … He's a bridge-builder, aligning diverse feedback and ideas with grace.”
“Kevin was a fantastic designer. His work was very detailed and he always asked a lot of questions. When I managed him, he would always impresses me with his sense of leadership.”
“Kevin was a strong member of our squad's leadership team, constantly pushing us towards the bigger picture around usability and how design could influence and positively impact the bottom line on our team's quarterly goals.”
“There's a reason he was staffed to the flows that our users first experience in Podium—their first impression was entrusted to Kevin, and he guided them clearly and compassionately in the frames he so carefully crafted.”
“He led the designs for many of the projects I worked on and he showed incredible skill in UI and UX design. … Despite being an engineer, I learned a lot from seeing the solutions Kevin came up with.”
“Kevin possesses a remarkable ability to bridge user needs with business objectives.”
Building with AI
I also run my own product. OptionsNote is an AI-powered trading journal for options traders. I designed it, built it with AI tooling, priced it, and took it to market myself.
What it does
P&L tracking, Greeks per trade, expiration alerts, a return-on-capital calculator, credit spread risk metrics and portfolio analytics.
How I built it
A mix of Lovable and Claude. I owned the product decisions, the design, the pricing and the launch.
Why it matters
Owning the entire loop, from first sketch to paying user, sharpens the same instincts I bring to funnel and monetization work.
Education
Off the clock
Based in the NYC area. You'll find me on a golf course, a hiking trail, the beach, or out on a run.
